Something to keep the little ones busy while they wait for trick-or-treating? Gather round and decorate your own Halloween cookies — kids and grown-ups alike. Kits are assembled to order in small batches.

What is in the kit

  • 9 sugar cookies — pumpkin, ghost and bat
  • 2 Halloween sprinkles packages
  • 3 royal icing packages — black, white and green
  • Step-by-step decorating card

Ingredients

  • Cookies: butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, kosher salt, all-purpose flour.
  • Royal icing: confectioners sugar, meringue powder, vanilla extract, food coloring (colored icing only).

Contains wheat, milk, egg and almond (tree nut). Baked in a kitchen that also handles soy and peanuts, so cross-contact cannot be ruled out.

How to use the kit

  1. Leave the icing bags at room temperature and massage them gently to reincorporate the colors if they have separated (this is normal!)
  2. Cut off the tips of the icing bags. Trim off only the very tips at first — you can cut off more later if necessary.
  3. Have fun decorating your Halloween cookies with the icing and sprinkles!
  4. Eat your cookies right away, or let them dry for 8 to 10 hours before packaging or stacking them.

Your cookies will stay fresh for up to 7 days in an airtight container.

About the bakery

A home kitchen you can visit

Laosy Sweets is a small home bakery in Rancho-Fontana, California — a home kitchen, not a storefront. Everything is baked in small batches to order, and every order is handed over in person at pick-up in the Inland Empire.

Because it is one kitchen and one pair of hands, each bake is a limited drop: when the batch is gone, it is gone, and some recipes do not come back for a while.

Everything is baked to order and handed over in person to neighbours in the Inland Empire. We do not ship.
