Terms
Terms of service
Version 2026-10-01 · Effective Thursday, October 1
The short version. Ordering here reserves kits to be baked and handed over in person in the Inland Empire. Kits are baked in small batches at home, may have come into contact with common allergens, and are held only until the drop day. The full terms below are what actually apply.
Who we are
Laosy Sweets is a one-person home bakery operating from a private home kitchen in Rancho-Fontana, California, selling directly to customers locally. Contact is through the contact form. No visits to the home kitchen outside a scheduled hand-over.
Your order
- Submitting the order form is a request to reserve the kits, and it records whether you will collect them or want them dropped off. It is not payment, and it does not itself create a sale until the kits are handed over and paid for.
- Kits are limited. Reserving them reduces what is available to everyone else, which is why the quantity limit per order exists.
- Your order is confirmed by email with a reference code. If you do not receive one, contact us before assuming the order went through.
- An order that is never confirmed or paid releases its kits back into the drop after 24 hours.
- An order may be declined — for example if a drop is full, if a recipe cannot be made as described, or if an allergen cannot be handled safely. Nothing is owed on a declined order.
Prices and payment
- Prices are shown on the site for the current drop and may change between drops.
- A price published in error does not bind us; we will contact you before making anything and you may cancel at no cost.
- Payment is arranged through the methods in your confirmation email or in person at pick-up. This website never receives card details.
- Where a card processor is used, that processor's terms apply to the payment and any processing fees are governed by them.
Pick-up and drop-off
- Orders are handed over on Saturday, October 24. Collect from Rancho-Fontana, California 92336 — the exact address is sent with your confirmation.
- Ask for drop-off on the order form and we bring the kit to the address you give us for $2 extra. Local drop-off only — ask us if you are not sure you are in range.
- Bring your reference. Kits are baked to order, and home-baked food cannot be held indefinitely or resold.
- An order nobody collects, and nobody messages us about, is covered by the pick-up and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
Allergens, ingredients and risk
- Kits are prepared in a home kitchen that handles wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts and tree nuts. Cross-contact is possible and we do not operate an allergen-free kitchen.
- It is your responsibility to read the ingredient and allergen information supplied with your kit and to tell us about allergies before we bake.
- Decoration carries risk — sharp tools are used for some kits, and small decorations are a choking hazard for young children. Kits are intended to be used with adult supervision, and you accept that risk when you order.
- Kits are not medical or dietary products, and nothing on this site is health or nutrition advice. We make no health or nutrient claims.
Do not rely on us for anything time-critical
This is a one-person home bakery. A drop can be delayed or cancelled by illness, a family emergency, equipment failure or a batch that is not good enough to hand over. We will tell you as soon as we know and the refund policy applies — but please do not plan a wedding, an event or a deadline that has no fallback on a home bakery drop.
Photographs and content
Photographs, text, illustrations and the Laosy Sweets name and logo on this site belong to Laosy Sweets. Please do not reuse them commercially without asking — and if you post a photo of what you made, tag @laosy.sweets, we love seeing it. We will ask before ever reposting a customer's photo.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that California law does not allow to be excluded, including for fraud, or for injury caused by our negligence in preparing food.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version and effective date at the top change when we do. The terms in force when you placed an order are the ones that apply to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts sitting in San Bernardino County, California, unless the law gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.
